Tdap Booster

For the 2018 – 2019 school year,
ALL students entering the 6th , 7th or 8th grade in a Virginia school must have a current Tdap vaccine . If a Tdap or TD vaccine has been received in the last five years (since September 2009) this booster is not required. Documentation of this vaccine may appear as DPT, T, Td Dtap, and /or Tdap.
All rising 6th graders and all new students must bring documentation of receiving a Tdap vaccine to the school nurse so it can be put in your child’s school record.
Documentation is needed to be brought to school before August 10th so their class schedule can be mailed.
