Welcome to the Library Media Center!
The Bayside Middle School library is a busy place that fosters reading, thinking, and learning. We have a collection of about 9,000 books, eBooks, and magazines. For all students, the library is a treasure trove of fiction and nonfiction resources, a collaborative work space, and a quiet place for independent reading and study.
We welcome Chromebooks for research or reading. The library also has three laptops available for catalog use.
Virginia Beach City Public Schools subscribes to several digital research tools and databases, including World Book, Encyclopedia Britannica, Gale, and Proquest. Students and teachers can access eMediaVA, The Stream, and NBC Learn for videos and current events. These resources promote personalized and life-long learning.
